IT’S CALLED TEAMWORK – A prior customer came in, only to find that his usual representative was away. Just like family, another sales professional stepped up. The project involved getting a ’69 Dodge Dart up to speed to give to the customer’s son. With the same sense of family and attention to detail, we put together a great system consisting of Kicker LX amps, AudioControl speakers and a Sony radio in an under-dash kit. Our skilled install tech did a great job on the kick panel and back-package-tray speakers. We had this Dart pounding with a pair of Kicker CompQ 10 subwoofers! ROCKIN’ THE DUNES – The owner of a Polaris Pro RZR came in with a factory-stock sound system. This is his second RZR, and the owner called the current system “very underwhelming,” complaining that it distorted when turned up. He asked about adding additional speakers and an amp to bring up the total volume and clarity. Because we work on a lot of similar toys, knew exactly what to add to really bring this Polaris to life. We installed the AudioControl ACX300.4 UTV amplifier to deliver clean power and linked it to two pairs of Kicker 45KM654L marine speakers. We installed one pair in a door pod that was made by SSV Works and installed the second pair in 6.5-inch cage pods that mount to the roll bar. Upon completion our customer said this is exactly what he was looking for. He left excited to hit the trails and let everyone hear what a RZR should sound like. It’s always a pleasure to see a long-term system project completed – especially when it sounds as awesome as this one. We had already installed a lot of product for the owner of a 2015 Nissan Altima, who came back to Audio Express in Fox Plaza for the finishing touches. He already was enjoying a JVC KWV850BT, multimedia receiver featuring a 6.8-inch clear resistive touch monitor, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and much more. We had also installed new speakers and the Kicker KEY1804 amp, called the biggest advance in the smallest package. It is a smart amplifier and audio processor in one, featuring AI-driven DSP. Measuring less than eight inches long and only two inches high, it fits nearly anywhere. All he needed now was bass. Once he heard the performance of the HO112RGW3V3 he decided to go with that loaded subwoofer enclosure. The single 12W3v3-2 subwoofer is nestled in a patented high-output enclosure designed to deliver the ultimate bass experience. JL Audio's patented chamber-coupled port design wraps around the inner enclosure and terminates on one side of the woofer, coupling the port output to the woofer's direct output. A customer came into our store looking to add a new sound system to his factory 2020 Can Am. After a little research and a lot of work, we installed the 45CX35 Kicker/SSV 5 Speaker Can-Am Maverick X3 System. On top of the already amazing sound the Kicker Phase 5 system, we also added a JL Audio M500/3 Class D 3 channel marine amplifier powering an additional 43CWRT102 10 inch subwoofer and a pair of Kicker PSC652 6.5 2-OHM Powersports Weatherproof Coaxial Speakers. The gentleman was excited about the idea of that many speakers and subwoofers being able to fit and still retain all the functionality of the 4 seat UTV. We also sold him on the idea of adding an additional battery with a circuit breaker to protect the system and enjoy the added function of allowing him to be able to take a break and have his sound system running while hanging out. The PAC200 battery isolator allows him to enjoy his sound without worrying about having to have hit UTV jumpstart. Finally, we added a HE-DRC50 curved LED lightbar and inside RGB LEDs on the inside of the cabin for the ultimate nighttime driving. Once we delivered the Can-Am to the customer, he was ecstatic about how loud the sound was and how deep the bass was thanks to the EPICENTER we put in. A couple brought in a 2019 Range Rover. The wife, of the gentlemen, previously spoke with one of our sales associates over the phone and purchased for her husband a JL Audio System. I can’t say this enough, but we always appreciate our military out here in central El Paso. This customer just transferred to Fort Bliss and was in the market for an upgraded car audio system for his 2016 Ford Mustang.
