Sometimes I step outside for a minute and catch little moments like this. Seeing the warmth and whimsy of the bookery on customers makes me heart swell. Those moments remind me why we opened Cactus Flower Bookery. 💛

There's something aI absolutely love about our bookstore and it has nothing to do with selling books.

It's getting to surround ourselves with things that have lived a life before they found their way here.

These little folding binoculars came from the estate of a gentleman who served in Japan after World War II. They still have his name on them.

The same reason I love vintage books is the reason I love little treasures like this—every single one has a story. Sometimes we know it, sometimes we don't... but now they get to become part of ours.
