Going beyond anyone’s expectations, Blanca Estrada has created another great mural. Blanca Estrada has spent the last 4 years of making art her full time job. In the that time she has created many murals.

“This mural was directed by the owners of Texas pledge who opened up the gym to help the San Elizario community and exercising and getting healthy. They really care for the community in the area as they both grew up there and have a lot of love. Their memberships are really reasonably priced.”

For this mural, Blanca Estrada decided to put a lot of elements from the local area.

“This (mural) includes the San Elizario church,” described Blanca Estrada in her video. “I did lots of plants of the desert representation. I also represented the cotton fields in San Elizario. We show students from San Elizario High School running (track team), and horse riding.”

Even with her experience, she underestimated the time it would take to create such a detailed mural.

“11 Days. About 956 hours. Or maybe 70 hours, I lost count,” stated Blanca Estrada on her recent post. Originally she had planned for it to be 7 days.

Her style shines through on her art. Her technique creates a unique perspective.

“I created this mural free hand, so my lines are not the best… but they are all me.”
