The MACSAX Bluebonnet Classical Alto Mouthpiece lives up to it’s name. Just as the Texas Bluebonnets blend effortlessly and beautifully into the Hill Country, this mouthpiece will blend just the same into an ensemble. Its darker tone will add a bit of color to a saxophone section, rounding out its sound and providing low, warm frequencies to the overall ensemble. While this mouthpiece is warmer than the Castilleja, we retained the responsiveness that makes both the Castilleja and the Bluebonnet so great.
