Scott Bader is possibly the world’s most dedicated slot car enthusiast. When he was a child he fell in love with the hobby, but unfortunately could not afford the great models that were available. Many years later and after a brilliant and successful career in the construction material
business, Scott now has the means and time to devote to his hobbies. Besides slot cars he enjoys racing full-size vintage machinery, everything from Corvette Sting Rays to a Can-Am Lola T165, and a March F1 formerly raced by the great Ronnie Peterson. Scott has been very successful, notching multiple wins at virtually every major track in the U.S. Electric Dreams has now what is possibly the largest inventory of slot cars and parts from all major makers, Scalextric, Fly, Slot.It, Carrera as well
as exclusive United States and Canada distributorship for fine hand-built cars and kits from MMK, Proto Slot Kit, Slot Indy… and many more. 18-year-old Jan Basas, grandson of Joan, son of Ivan, brother of Pau, and nephew of Bernart is our new summer intern. Jan, born and raised at CricCrac, currently helps to develop Scaleauto new slot cars for his family’s factory. He will be a great help over the coming months and will use this experience to improve his English-speaking skills — so we’re keeping the kid away from Marco.
