New soaps on the curing rack…..
Ivy & Grace - Handmade Soap & More
GOLDEN GODDESS- This soap starts with our Plain & Simple base & finished with Organic Turmeric, Raw Honey & Clove Essential Oil. This will work perfect for all over!
TOMATO & ROSEMARY - This soap includes real organic tomato puree & Rosemary Essential Oils! This would be a great all over bar as well.
MEET ME IN THE WOODS - This is a basic Plain & Simple base with a twist. We have added Neem Oil, Lavendar & Lemongrass to help for those who are out on hikes, camping out or just working in the yard. Follow this soap up with our BUG RUB & bugs aren’t gonna like you near as well.
SHAVE BARS- Made with some of the best oils & butter offered, then we go even farther to add rhassoul clay. Now, since I don’t have a cosmetic engineering degree yah yah yah, I can’t “make claims”, however, I can quote you what research shows…..
“Rhassoul clay provides the crucial "slip" needed for a smooth, frictionless razor glide, while its silica and magnesium content adds a silky lather and nourishes the skin. It won't dull your razor blades and helps prevent post-shave dryness.”
PERFECTLY IMPERFECT - When things go wrong in the soap studio, you have a couple of options….
1. throw everything away & start over…..(🤭 yeah right).
2. Use it yourself as long as it’s safe 👍🏼
3. Re-batch & save it.
When starting out & learning, mistakes are made! Not to mention the end pieces or extra little flakes of “gold” (aka soap) from the molds that ran over slightly. Needless to say, over the last year, they have built up & we can only use so much soap for our personal use.
This is how PERFECTLY IMPERFECT was born. All of my oops, uh-ohs & end scraps went into this bar. & let me just say, this may be one of the silkiest bars I have created to date. I did top this with a faint magnolia essential oils to make sure the smell was on point.
DISCLOSURE- The ingredients list is going to be long & will state “MAY CONTAIN” simply because I can’t guarantee exacts since tons of scraps were used. If you have any allergies to ingredients used in soap making, this will not be a soap I would recommend, just incase. It will also have some ingredients that would be considered exfoliating.
This soap is a “while supplies last” soap as there is no way for me to recreate this exact soap. I will periodically do other versions as scraps build up, but no 2 batches will be alike.
