This weekend, Friday, April 10th to Sunday, April 12th, the roads of magic lead us back to the Bohemian Arts Festival at Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines. There is no charge for entrance and the event is open during normal mall hours. This is a great event with a lot of entertainment, vendors, and food normally found at Renaissance Faires.

Look for our rainbow canopy near Center Court, where we will be featuring our usual assortments of magical items like "child-safe" weapons, jewelry, staffs & wands, and more! And, if you happen to know any dice goblins or others who need more enchanted math rocks, we've got them covered too -- in fact, some of ours magical math rocks are ACTUAL ROCKS! Now that I have D100s back in stock with my magical math rocks, I had someone ask again this past weekend what the greatest numbers of sides a die can have. I do have one or two of those in stock too -- I am including a picture for reference, though the ones I have you'll have to number yourself (oh and yes you CAN make it work as a spin down, but it will require a little more effort on your part).

This weekend, March 7th-8th, the roads of magic lead us to a new indoor event -- Cedar Falls Comic-Con! Doors are open 10:00am-6:00pm Saturday and 10:00am-4:00pm Sunday. This event promises panels and meet-and-greets with Celebrity Guests, a costume contest, plus all sorts of artists and vendors! I do have a few others I am trying to make work -- so if you aren't seeing one you really hope to see us at (and it falls on a date not already covered here), be sure to let us know so we can keep pushing that way!

Currently working on the schedule for 2026. Any suggestions of places we really need to be -- either that we couldn't make last year because of scheduling conflicts or (even better) events in the central Midwest that you haven't seen us at yet? Really hoping to fill the calendar this year! Can't wait to be back on the road and seeing all of our friends!

As the winter winds and snow bring an end to our outdoor events until Spring, we still have plenty of magical items in our inventory that we can ship as needed! While I cannot guarentee that I will be able to get ANY item you might have seen in my shoppe before, I am more than willing to try my best to fulfill your needs and desires! And that does include searching out magical items that you may NOT have seen yet as well! Or, as needed, I will do my best to get you into contact with one of my many artist and merchant friends that might have what you are looking for as well! Just let me know what magical items you are looking for to please those most deserving (including yourself)!

Who knows someone needing some magic items? This week we bring our magical market into Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines to take part in their Hello Winter Open Market! The event is open during regular mall hours Friday, November 21 to Sunday, November 23. This is a great way to get some holiday shopping started while supporting small and unique businesses like ours!

We are stocked up to sell weapons to children (and anyone else ready to experience the magic), as well as enabling dice goblins and adventurers of all types. The rivers and paths of magic lead us back this Saturday to the 2nd Annual Vikingfest at the Castle Bridge Event Center in St. Joseph, MO. Gates will open on November 15th at 11:00am.

HEAR YE HEAR YE! After a fantastic first weekend, we return again for a SECOND great weekend at the 2025 Iowa Renaissance Festival in Middle Amana on October 18-19.

Gates will be open 10:00 - 6:00 both days. The faire, as always, features all the great entertainment, food, and shopping you could want for that price.
