The repairman is still coming as soon as he can, and I’m over here doing my best impression of a functioning business owner while slowly roasting. 😂

So come see me — just don’t judge the hair, the sweat, or the fan I’m probably standing directly in front of. 🤣

🥵 THIS HIPPIE HAS MELTED. 🫠🤣

I tried, y’all. I really did.

But it’s officially 92° inside the shop, I’m sweating in places I didn’t know could sweat, and the air conditioner has clearly decided it no longer wants to participate in this business. 😂

So we’re calling it — Happy Hippie is CLOSED for the rest of today.

The repairman is scheduled to get here as soon as he can tomorrow, so I’ll post here as soon as we’re cooled down and ready to OPEN! ❄️

Until then, I’m going home to sit directly in front of an air vent and rethink my relationship with Oklahoma. 🤣

I woke up today feeling positive, productive and ready to conquer the world.

Then I remembered I have responsibilities. 🤣

So I’ve adjusted my goals.

Show up.
Do my best.
Stay out of trouble.

Apparently today is National Relaxation Day… and FINALLY a national day I am fully qualified to celebrate. 😂

But August 15th is doing the MOST because it’s also:

🍋 Lemon Meringue Pie Day
🐝 World Honey Bee Day
🐾 Check the Chip Day
❤️ International Homeless Animals Day
🌙 AND Chant at the Moon Day

So here’s your official Saturday assignment:

Relax a little.
Eat something good.
Love on your animals.
Make sure their microchip info is up to date.
Save the bees. 🐝
And if the mood strikes tonight… go outside and howl at the moon. 🤣🌙

Today is one of our favorite days at Happy Hippie — we’re helping our friends at the Comanche County Pet Resource Foundation get some furry bellies fed. ❤️🐶🐱
