🦜 Bronco is looking for his forever home! 🦜
Our little Senegal, Bronco, is officially up for adoption!
Unfortunately, we know very little about Bronco’s past. He came to us from a very sketchy hoarding situation and his owner had passed away. Because of that, much of his history remains a mystery.
Bronco is still learning to trust people. He is much more comfortable stepping up onto a perch than onto your hand, and that’s perfectly okay. He will need a patient adopter who understands that he may need time to decompress and settle into a new environment. We don’t know when he was last allowed out of his cage before coming to us, or how much positive human interaction he had.
Since arriving at the rescue, Bronco has already made wonderful progress. He has transitioned from a diet consisting of only seeds and peanuts to eating a healthy diet of fresh chop and pellets!
We were told he may be around 25–30 years old, but we can’t verify that information, so his age is unknown.
While Bronco may be a mystery bird, one thing we do know is that he deserves a second chance. He deserves a clean, safe home, nutritious food, daily enrichment, and the opportunity to enjoy life outside of a cage with someone willing to let him move at his own pace.
