ELIZABETHTOWN THRIFT SHOP DONATION GUIDELINES
Thank you for your donation of clean sellable clothing and household items. ALL donations will be checked by the volunteers receiving them. We will not accept items that are broken, do not work, damaged, incomplete, moldy or are not marketable. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS
Appliances-large
Baby: cribs, high chairs, car seats, walkers, ride on toys,
pack and plays, strollers
Bed: mattresses, box springs, pillows, foam pads
Books: only novels, no texts, dictionaries,
encyclopedias
Car batteries, fluids, parts
Cleanout of junk drawers/ toy boxes
Clothing: dirty, stained, torn, smells, covered with pet
hair, very wrinkled
Computers: desks, entertainment centers
Dishes or knick knacks that are chipped
Electronics: including Cassette, VCR, 8track /tape
players;
Copiers, Telephones, old model TV’s
Exercise equipment-large
Furniture: upholstered, overly large or worn
Helmets: must be new, in box
Large inflatable toys
Opened toiletries, paint
Pools
Rugs: room size, dirty
Suitcases: damaged/dirty
Tires
No Hangers, Styrofoam peanuts, Plastic grocery/ single use bags
Linens and clothing must be washed/folded. Please do not leave donations when we are closed.
