MID FEBRUARY THROUGH EARLY MARCH… this is PRIME TIME for shed hunting in Minnesota.

Snow is melting. The sun is warming things up. Last year’s bucks are dropping their antlers… and they’re laying out there waiting to be found.

This is your excuse to get outside.
Bring the dogs.
Walk your food plots.
Check bedding areas.
Enjoy the fresh air.
And maybe… just maybe… pick up a piece of next season’s trophy.

If you love deer, love the outdoors, or love the thrill of the hunt — shed season is here.

Who’s heading out this week?? Drop a photo if you find one!

BIG ANTLERS don’t start in October… they start in the DIRT.

Late winter is when whitetails are the MOST mineral deficient. Bucks are rebuilding bone mass after the rut, and does are preparing for fawn development. If you wait until spring, you’re already behind.

NOW is the time to establish mineral sites so deer can find them before antler growth kicks in.

✔ Rebuild bone structure
✔ Support herd health
✔ Improve antler development
✔ Help does going into fawning season

If you want bigger, healthier deer in Minnesota — it starts with what’s in your soil.

Stop in and we’ll help you build the perfect mineral site setup.

Minnesota deer hunters — now is the time.

Mid-February through early spring is when you should be getting your mineral sites prepped and established. Don’t wait until green-up is in full swing and you’re already behind.

✔️ Get your site cleaned up
✔️ Freshen it with quality mineral
✔️ Let deer find it early
✔️ Build herd health before antler growth kicks in

Bucks are recovering. Does are carrying fawns. This is when nutrition matters.

If you’re serious about better herd health and stronger antler growth this fall, start now — not when it’s too late.

Check regs to be sure its allowed in your area. Who’s already got their mineral sites going in MN?

Something new showed up at the bird feeder last night… a Great Horned Owl.
(Okay, technically a buck enjoying the bird seed buffet 😂)

If you feed birds in Minnesota, you already know: deer LOVE bird feeders just as much as birds do. Keep feeders full, keep wildlife happy, and expect a few “unexpected visitors.”

Who else has deer cleaning out their feeders this winter?

Mid-February lawn tip that surprises most people 👇
The best thing you can do for your lawn right now… is absolutely nothing.
No fertilizer. No raking. No panic.
Let the soil rest, protect your roots, and save your energy for what really matters — chasing pike through the ice 🎣
Smart lawns are built with patience, not panic.
