We carry primarily 3 different types of carpet here at Fells Flooring. First is going to be your premium polyesters! Polyester has come a long way in the past 10 years when it comes to durability, stain resistance, and memory. It is the most common type of carpet, and is one of the better choices for a more plush style bedroom or living room! Second we have Nylon! Nylon gives that extra bit of toughness and stain resistance at the higher end of things. Nylons are commonly used in commercial settings, where it will be used and abused. Nylons also typically have a shorter thread length, with more designer colors and patterns. They’re a great choice when it comes to high traffic areas in a home or business! Third is wool! Commonly considered the best when it comes to higher end carpet, it is extremely robust, naturally stain resistant, hypoallergenic, and usually very plush!
