Since our online ordering went live last April, we've heard from quite a few of you who miss the old printed price book. We get the feedback almost every day!
Unfortunately, the printed price book isn't coming back. With prices changing as often as they do, a printed price list becomes outdated before it gets to a single mailbox. We'd rather give you current pricing and availability than ask you to work from information we already know is obsolete.
**BUT... your feedback has definitely not fallen on deaf ears.**
Today we launched something we've been working on that brings back a little of that familiar price book feel.
On the **Catalog** page you'll now find a comprehensive product list. Every item we sell is listed alphanumerically by item, and clicking the part number takes you directly to that product's page with current pricing and availability. We're still ironing out a few quirks. For example, clicking on part number "12" currently brings up every item containing "12." We'll get those little details cleaned up, but it's already very usable.
Right next to the complete product list is a **New Products** worksheet containing everything we've introduced since May 2018. Just like the old price book, we'll refresh both of these about once a month.
We know this still won't replace a printed book for everyone. Some of us simply like paper, dog-eared pages, handwritten notes, and flipping through a catalog. We get it—we do too.
So while our industry and almost everything else in life has moved online, we're going to keep looking for ways to preserve a little of that old-school Allied experience wherever we can.
And one thing that will never change:
**We will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS answer the phone with real people.**
