Carl & Leona Anderson opened Little Scandinavia in 2006, bringing what they loved most in Scandinavian people and products to the greater Omaha area. In the summer of 2019 their daughter took over the shop, keeping the family traditions and quality going strong.

It’s fun to hear your memories and the nostalgia these books bring. Bringing back good memories is a big part of our shop. Do you have a favorite from this series?

Another big part is selling beautifuly designed functional products. These Hinza bags are a fantastic example! They are chic, they are made with recycled and sustainable materials, and they are made in Sweden.

No one does pretty & practical better than the Scandinavians. We see it wool sweaters, pressed birch trays, napkins and even dishcloths👏.
