Some old favorites are back, and a few new faces have joined them!
Our Penguin & Fish beginner embroidery kits have been restocked just in time for holiday stitching and gift giving. Sheep, Cow, Pineapple and Unicorn are back, along with seasonal designs like Sleigh Ride and Autumn Sparkle.
These kits are made for beginners, with the fabric, floss, hoop, needle and instructions needed to get stitching. They’re a great choice for someone trying embroidery for the first time, a younger stitcher ready to learn, or an experienced crafter looking for a fun little project.
And that smiling pineapple telling you “You’re Sweet” might be my favorite.

I admit it. I’m a yarn snob.

I love yarn with character, a story and a sense of where it came from. That’s what led me to British wool and to five very different yarns we’ve recently added at Pisgah Needleworks.

A snowball, a magnolia, a day spent fishing with Dad, and possibly the best-dressed pelican we’ve seen in a while.
These four hand-painted canvases are our first designs from Gulf Coast Needleworks, and we loved the variety. There’s something coastal, something Southern, something sentimental, and something just plain fun.
Mini Snowball is an 18-mesh design, while Magnolia Mini, Just Fishin’ Dad & Daughter, and Preppy Pastel Pelican are all painted on 13 mesh.
