The AC is on full-blast at the coolest little bookstore in Elkins Park, so come pick up your beach read/airplane/hammock read—however you spend your time off this summer—at Open Book Bookstore. That's my Declaration of Independent bookstores.
We will be closed for the day on July 4th, but are open Friday, July 3 from 1:00 pm–6:00 pm and then on Sunday, July 5 from 11:00 am–4:00 pm.

The air conditioner works, so come shop at the coolest book store in Elkins Park. However, note that Open Book Bookstore will be closed on Saturday, for the July 4th holiday,
But we WILL be open Friday, July 3 from 1:00 pm–6:00 pm and then on Sunday, July 5 from 11:00 am–4:00 pm. So stop by your favorite local bookshop to pick up your beach read, airplane read, hammock read, or however you spend your time off this summer.

"The sun'll come out, tomorrow—" and so will Open Book Bookstore's new weekend hours.
Beginning tomorrow, June 5, we will open at 11:00am! That's an extra hour to pick up your beach and backyard reading.
Sat. 11am – 5pm ||| Sun 11am – 4pm
Closed Mondays ||| Tues–Fri 1pm – 6pm

Happy Mother's Day from Open Book Bookstore to all the mothers out there and, why not, to anyone and everyone who's ever had a mother 😃
We'll be open today until 4:00 pm. It looks like all the High School Rd shops are open today as well. Come take your mom for a stroll through the Hamlet, or buy her something last minute (don't worry, I won't tell her you waited. 😉
