I’ve been battling with my heart over the last week or so trying to even write this, but I truly feel it’s what’s best for this season of life I’m stepping into.
I go back to school on May 18th as I finish up my nursing degree, and while I am NOT shutting my business down, I will be slowing down for a bit.
Along with being a business owner and a mom, right now I need to make sure I’m giving my best energy and attention to my children and my education. My priority over the next few months needs to be school, studying, my kids, and staying on top of everything that comes with those responsibilities.
Because of that, I will not be attending as many vendor events as I normally do this summer/fall (I may be able to attend 2 or 3, but not nearly as many as I normally would do). I will still be taking orders, but I may not be as active on social media, posting as frequently, or releasing new designs as often. If I find extra time, I will absolutely share and create when I can.
This wasn’t an easy decision, because I truly love my business, customers, & what I’ve built. But I know in order to succeed in school, finish my degree strong, and show up fully for my kids, I have to give myself the space and focus it requires.
