We are doing it again this year!

Come sit with us as we celebrate America’s 250 Birthday! 🇺🇸

Every year our parking lot is used as parking for the fireworks show. Which is COMPLETELY FINE with us!
(It’s got a great view 😉)

The barrier this year is there for people with lawn chairs! The other half of the parking lot will be for cars. So once you park, feel free to cross the tape and set up your chairs on the concrete!

Yall are welcome to come hang out with us and watch tonight! We will all have a great time! 🇺🇸❤️

We have been out and assessed the roads in the county.

Due to that assessment we will be CLOSED tomorrow. (Tuesday, Jan 27th)

For the safety of our employees, it’s best that we wait it out. I also recommend that everyone who can stay home, does. The roads are still bad. However, Todd County Road Crew is doing an absolutely fantastic job!

The Grinch was arrested last night during the parade. Local police said he was menacing and threatened to steal Christmas.
Looks like Christmas is saved this year.
Does anyone have photos or videos of the Grinch in the parade. Please share here.

TOMORROW SATURDAY DEC 13th
10-2 @ Milliken Community House!

Santa, the Grinch, kids crafts, donuts, coffee, and a place for kids to pick presents for parents and get them wrapped.

Then stay in town a little longer and watch the Elkton Christmas Parade! 🎅🏼

Today I had over 60 families come in to pick out presents for their family. Along with the 30 kids we are using donation money to get presents for!

We have officially done all that we can do this year. I can’t thank everyone who donated enough. Every year I plan what I can do, then it turns into much more because of this beautiful community I live in supporting us.

In case you missed it, Elkton got a whole page in Kentucky Living magazine!

We were amazed to be asked to talk a little bit about Christmas in Todd County.

Anything we do is for the betterment of the county and the people who live here. We’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the county’s support throughout the rest of the year! 🥰

As the official Elkton Grinch handler, we are making the call that, with the incoming rain and sleet, he will not be attending the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. He unfortunately doesn’t have a rain coat and doesn’t want his fur to get soaked since Its what keeps him warm. ☹️

Looks like we will just have to wait until the Parade and hopefully the weather will cooperate better!

We are gearing up for our annual Christmas Giveaway! More info will be coming out about that as soon as I can tell y’all. 🤫

We are taking toys again this year! We would also like to focus on getting some kids winter jackets, gloves, hats, and thick socks! I’ll be getting the Christmas Tree up here at the store so feel free to bring new unwrapped items!

The Grinch is supposed to be making an appearance tomorrow at the Elkton Christmas Tree Lighting. I also heard he will have small gift surprises. 🤭

We will be having an event at the Milliken Community House on December 13th from 10-2 with Santa, the Grinch, and kids activities! This is before the Christmas Parade! Come to town early, let the kids hang out with their Christmas favorites, then watch the parade!
