Who needs a Pitcher Plant?!?🍶

I have tons ready for new homes in a variety of sizes from little bitty babies to large hanging baskets!

These plants are carnivorous and they use sweet nectar at the bottom of the pitchers to lure gnats and the walls of the pitchers are slippery to trap the prey inside.

Are they difficult to keep alive?
Nope!

💦The trick is to to keep them moist and ONLY use distilled water. They cannot break down the minerals in tap water. They thrive in Sphagnum moss.

☀️Bright, indirect light is best! Direct sunlight will bring them up.

Ideal location: Kitchen window, bathroom window or covered porch to catch those pesky little insects!

This week the winner was the amazing and locally famous(and loved) The Caffeinated Cook! I could write a book about how much I admire this woman but I think it’s safe to say you all already know how magnificent she is.

Through all of the season of life and business, I am thankful to have her so close to us. Without her, I’m not sure Sale St. would have become the place it is today and for that I will be forever thankful.

Thank you Amy for always believing in me but more importantly, the community. ❤️ Oh, and let’s not forget those amazing scones and B&G’s. 🤤

There are so many incredible people right here in our community doing good without asking for recognition. We want to change that. ❤️
