The updated calendar is packed with workshops, open hours, free meetups, and plenty of opportunities to make questionable things with good company.

November 28–29: The RBP’s Merry Little Pop-In! We’re joining the LGS Makers Market festivities with special open hours from 10 AM–5 PM both days. Skip the big-box chaos, shop unique gifts, support local makers, and cross a few names off that holiday list.

Booked & Blooming: Upcycled Book Page Wreath Workshop

Friday, November 27 | 1–4 PM

Some books deserve a second chapter. Others deserve to be ripped apart and turned into something fabulous.

Skip the Black Friday crowds and spend the afternoon making something instead.

Join us at The RBP as we give old dictionaries a new purpose, transforming their pages into oversized, beautifully textured wreaths that are equal parts literary charm and statement decor.

Starting with an 18-inch metal wreath frame, you’ll fold, fluff, and layer hundreds of rescued dictionary pages to create a full, dimensional wreath. Then make it your own with your choice of florals and decorative accents, whether you’re going for cozy fall, festive holiday, or something you can leave up year-round.

Your workshop includes:

Holiday Cards for a Cause with Free Mom Hugs

Friday, December 4 | 5:30–8:30 PM

The holidays can be especially difficult for LGBTQ+ folks who have experienced rejection, isolation, or a lack of support from their families. Sometimes, a little reminder that someone out there sees you, supports you, and gives a damn can make all the difference.

The RBP is teaming up with Free Mom Hugs for an evening of community, connection, and holiday card making!

Join us to write and decorate holiday cards filled with love, encouragement, affirmation, and a little holiday cheer for LGBTQ+ individuals who could use some extra support this season.

Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community, an ally, a chosen family member, or just someone who believes everyone deserves to feel loved and celebrated, there’s a place for you at the table.

MIFC: SET THE BONE EDITION

Female rage, feminist poetry, and an unreasonable amount of rhinestones. Sounds like a pretty good Friday night.

Join us at The RBP for a special edition of Make It Fu***ng Cute featuring Baltimore-area poet and author Jillian Stacia | poet and her debut poetry collection, Set the Bone.

About the book:

Set the Bone is a fierce, darkly funny, and unapologetically honest exploration of modern womanhood. Through poetry that tackles motherhood, marriage, mental health, inherited trauma, feminism, and the quiet (and not-so-quiet) rage of being a woman, Jillian challenges the expectation that women should be small, agreeable, and silent.

It’s part reckoning, part rallying cry, and a whole lot of refusing to sit down and smile.

About the workshop:

We’ll kick things off with a reading and conversation with Jillian about her poetry, the stories behind the work, and the experiences that shaped it all while we break out the rhinestones and bedazzle our copies of Set the Bone into something as bold and unapologetic as the words inside.

Because if we’re going to dismantle the patriarchy, we might as well make it sparkle.

This is my doctor and I love her !

After decades of debilitating periods, years of infertility and recurrent miscarriages, and missing 3-5 days of work every time I ovulated or had my period it was life changing to get to a doctor who was like OH NO - here is what’s wrong and here are the three options we have ranked from best outcome and recovery/impact.

It’s been almost 3.5 years since Dr Peters removed my “rigid and boggy” uterus, laden with endometriosis, adenomyosis, and fibroids.

I wish I would have found her sooner and I hope more doctors learn from her so that everyone can benefit. We should not have to walk around overflowing menstrual cups in an hour that are supposed to hold an entire cycles worth or spends thousands of hours and dollars at a place like SGF and have them never actually examine the condition of the uterus they’re trying to impregnant enough to notice endo or adeno.
