Garage sale season has been absolutely wild lately.

Picked up the Invader Zim jacket for $2 at a garage sale and it sold on Depop after fees and cost I made around $300. Then found a gold necklace for 50 cents and sold it to a jeweler on the way home for $450.

This is exactly why I’ll never stop hitting garage sales. You truly never know what’s sitting on a random folding table for pocket change. Love garage sale season.

If you’re a reseller and still guessing what to pick up... you NEED to try Flippr.
It’s a subscription app that lets you scan and price multiple items at once so you can instantly see what’s actually worth grabbing.
It’s especially helpful when you’re learning new categories or staring at shelves full of books like I was today.
Use my referral code 6R6PFQ so we both get free coins and you can try it out for yourself! Trust me... it makes sourcing way more fun.

This is why reselling keeps you on your toes

This vintage He-Man/MOTU lot just ended at $285+ and I’m honestly still a little shook 😅
Not because it’s not good stuff but because this is a perfect example of how auction vs Buy It Now is a straight-up gamble sometimes.

I debated this one hard.
Auction felt risky. BIN felt risky.
I went with my gut… and the bidders showed UP.

This is why pricing isn’t always black and white. Some lots need the right eyes, the right timing, and the right crowd. Sometimes auctions fly. Sometimes they flop. Sometimes BIN sits forever. There’s no magic formula just experience, research, and hoping for the best

Wins like this remind me:
• You can’t predict everything
• You won’t always be right
• But when it hits… it HITS

On to the next sale

Don’t sleep on books! I bid $15 on a random box of books.
Just 3 books from that box alone are worth:
✨ $85
✨ $180
✨ $250

That’s over $500 from a $15 gamble.

Old books. Weird books. Dusty books. Boring-looking books.
They’re out here quietly holding value

Moral of the story:
👉 Don’t underestimate books
👉 Don’t judge value by a crusty cover
👉 Knowledge = power

I’ll keep digging through boxes while everyone else walks past them

✨ New Venture Update: Whatnot Era Has Begun ✨

January = learning month, and I finally dipped my toes into Whatnot

So far I’ve done 3 live shows, all very “figure it out as we go”:

Show 1: Comic book random pulls
• 1.5 hour live
• ~30 min shipping
• $66.80 profit

📼 Show 2: VHS random pulls (last Tuesday)
• 1 hr 1 min live
• ~30 min shipping
• $63 profit

🎉 Show 3: Tonight
• 1 hour live
• 20 min shipping
• Slower show but still **$30 profit**

No huge production, no fancy planning just learning, experimenting, and having fun with it.

The goal moving forward? Weekly shows, mostly random and based on whatever I’m feeling that week. Comics, VHS, vintage, surprises… you never really know

It’s not replacing my regular reselling income, but as extra income? Honestly… kinda loving it.

If you’re curious, want to hang out, or like chaotic fun auctions—stick around. More to come hoping to do shows every Tuesday at 7pm cst!
