Hi Friends! I've been really quiet on this page and wanted to provide an explanation. After almost 17 years of running The Common Scents Candle Co., I've decided that it's time for a break. The entire time I have been running this company, I've also been working full time, raising a family, and volunteering in the community. The time is right to take a pause and reevaluate.
Next week, I will be having surgery to fix a torn rotator cuff. And we are expecting our first grandbaby in August and our second grandbaby in September. So, I have decided not to do any craft shows this summer or fall. This will allow me to focus on my health and our growing family.
I'm not completely ruling out a craft show or two in the future, but when I do reopen, I plan to focus more on fundraisers and other avenues.
