My first quilt attempt!

I wanted to make my pup something to snuggle with while I'm gone. It is Winnie approved. I didn't add batting because I figure 1. It's for a dog and 2. Even when I snuggle it, I sleep too warm anyways.
I've already laid out my next one that's bigger and I'm excited for more practice. The goal is to get comfortable enough with quilting that I can FINALLY make my kiddos the quilts out of their baby clothes that I've had forever. My oldest is 6. It's a long time coming.

I finally confronted my fear of sewing machines......now I'm addicted.
I can't stop.
It's insane.
My favorite things to make have been scrunchies and pet bandanas so keep your eyes out for those at future markets. Regardless of size the bandanas are $6 and reversible so you get two designs in one bandana. (Sizes xsmall-xlarge)
I'm having so much fun.
Winnie now has to tell ME when I need a break and a stretch.

Craft update:

I got my Tdap vaccine last week and it's been killing my arm. So I've been taking a break from crocheting and working on some felt projects that feel a bit easier on my arms and wrists. I've never had a vaccine kick my butt so hard. I can't sleep on that side. It hurts all the way down to my fingers still.
Anything to keep healthy I suppose 😭

Finally got my table runner for markets! I have to say, I feel really silly with all the things coming that say Elma, WA...

Finally got my table runner for markets!

I have to say, I feel really silly with all the things coming that say Elma, WA when we might not be here this time next year.

Business cards, stickers, t shirt transfers....ugh.

Where we end up, I don't know. But our Elma merch will always be special.
