PRAISE GOD!!🙏❤️

We went to Hershey Medical Center Wednesday fully expecting an outpatient procedure where they would remove the existing tube, place a new tube in that same spot but deeper and then place a second one on the other side of his belly button. When they took him back and they put the CT scan on him, they determined that there was very little infection in him, and that putting in a new drain tube would not be necessary as long as he stays on the antibiotics. So they pulled his existing tube out and we came home. Yay! He is finally on the mend!

Just an update on my husband…

Our appointment at Hershey Med Center was canceled for today. The CT scan from last week revealed that there is more infection that needs to be removed. So we have an emergency procedure scheduled for Wednesday morning to place a new tube into a new area of infection as well as replace the existing tube in the existing drain hole to more effectively remove the infection.
The original prostatectomy surgery was a year ago August 7th and they are baffled as to why this happened 1 year post surgery. That procedure did not take place at Hershey but I thank God that he pointed us in the direction of Hershey now. What a fantastic experience! 
They said we need to get to the bottom
of why this happened. Of course, they are very baffled!

Thankfully Vince has a positive attitude toward all of this. 🤗

I was able to bring Vince home and he is on the mend. We have a bit of a road ahead of us but I cannot thank all of you enough for your prayers, well wishes, donations and generosity! This community that we live and work in is incredible and I am so grateful to be a part of it. May God bless you all as he has blessed us! 🙏❤️

A Little Update ❤️

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has continued to pray, check in, send messages, and show us so much love and support. It has truly meant more to us than I can put into words.

Today, my husband had his surgery, and I’m so thankful to share that he made it through surgery and is doing well as he begins his recovery. 🙏❤️ That is a huge relief after everything we’ve been through.

We will still be here at Hershey for the foreseeable future. The doctors are continuing to run tests on the abscesses to determine exactly what type of infection we are dealing with and, from there, what antibiotics will be the best course of treatment.

It has been a long and difficult road, and we still have a ways to go, but today we are celebrating the little victories. ❤️

Our family is going through an incredibly difficult and unexpected time right now.

My husband, Vince is currently in the hospital, and my son Anthony and I have been staying nearby so that we can be with him and support him through everything. At this point, we do not know exactly how long we will need to remain here, but being close to him is what matters most to us.

With being away from home comes a number of unexpected expenses, including hotel stays, meals, gas, parking, and other day-to-day costs. These expenses can add up quickly, especially when you are trying to focus all of your energy on someone you love.

Since sharing what has been happening, we have been overwhelmed by the amount of love, prayers, messages, and support we have received from our friends, customers, and community. So many people have reached out asking how they can help, and that is why we decided to create this GoFundMe.

Any donations received will go directly toward helping cover the expenses of staying near the hospital and allowing us to remain close to my husband while he receives the care he needs.

💙 A Personal Request from Our Family 💙

We’re asking our customers, friends, and family to please keep my husband in your prayers. He is currently in the hospital dealing with abscesses that have caused sepsis, and it has been a very hard ordeal for both of us.

We were initially at a smaller regional hospital near our cabin, but because he needs more advanced care, we were transferred to Hershey Medical Center. We’re taking things one day at a time and trusting that he is now where he needs to be.

We would truly appreciate prayers for healing, strength, and a smooth recovery. 🙏 If you’re the type who believes in sending good thoughts, positive vibes, or a little extra love his way—we’ll take all of it!
