Smile if you got attacked by an animal at the zoo today.

Yep. Jett had a run-in with an animal AT the zoo…
(Not a zoo animal). 🤣🐿️

He went by a trashcan.
A squirrel jumped out of the trashcan, landed on him, and scratched his leg.

He’s fine. Keeping an eye on it.
The zoo gave us some first aid stuff and a special “boo boo button.”

It has not been good for my health anxiety. But also…we can’t stop laughing at how “on brand” this is for our family 😂🤣

*Googles if squirrel scratches can give rabies*

Here’s Jett’s full explanation of his idea for Silver Dollar City’s new Mini Miners Crew!

SDC could only share a small clip summary, but here’s the full submission for those who want to see!

Jett originally had this idea because of his love for Itty Bitty City, a play place where kids can make-believe real jobs. He also wants to work at SDC so badly!so this idea was his way of blending both.

He also believes this Little Dollar City would be friendly on sensory needs, since he has some sensitivity to noise.

We hope he keeps dreaming BIG! ❤️

31 mph wind gust was all it took. :(

Even though we aren’t in the biz anymore—

✅ make sure your inflatables are staked with 18”+ stakes, no matter how little wind is expected.

✅ anything over 20mph is TOO MUCH! Some inflatables have a 15 mph limit. (That’s GUSTS). Even if it’s only 12mph sustained winds, the GUSTS are the ones to look for!

✅ Make sure your party supplier is insured for liability! (I know Let’s Bounce Party Rentals in Mtn View are!)

✅ The Windy app is great for monitoring wind gusts and sustained winds in your area. Check these before taking your children to a public event with inflatables!

✅ Amazon has devices to measure wind speed. You can keep an eye on these during your event. If it ever exceeds, collapse the unit immediately!
