Notknapping Handcrafted accessories and decor. I mainly use natural materials like linen, felt, cork fabric, wool, cotton, and waxed canvas. I've asked them not to do that.

Everything here is handmade, by me, with the help of several vintage singers ranging from 60 to 70 years old, as well as modern sewing and embroidery machines. Most of my items are vegan; leather is noted when used. Where possible I use the smallest amount of processed material, and cut with the least waste. All of my materials, from zippers and hardware to fabric and thread, are high quality. I s

Oh my goodness. I sat down to stitch some samples from Approved Textiles, a Philadelphia company that makes dissolvable stitch guides inspired by art, artists, and culture. I sold a variety of them at an event in the spring, but didn't realize I had some of Dolly Parton left in the mending inventory box. I have three left, they are lovely, and I will have them with me at the Lehigh Valley Fiber Festival unless anyone wants them before then. (I just checked and they are backordered, I'll try to get more.) I include their lovely tribute inside the folder, here.

In the morning, you post a beautiful project that you love so much you almost kept part of it.

In the evening you sit on the back porch and realize you failed to change needle size on the ribbing on this vest so you sadly rip it all out.

Finished Object LOVE! I made these flower fairy/leaf sprites (pattern link in the comments) for my 6yo granddaughter and she loves them! I, however, had a hard time giving up the sack. I decided last minute to double up the Sandnes Garn Duo I was using and make a simple drawstring sack to match. I wove in a few of the colors I used and somewhere along the way realized I was making a really cool bag! Internal struggle ensued but I gave it up as planned. The fabric that was made by holding two strands of Duo is fabulous, the colors are gorgeous, and the weaving gave the bag some added structure.
