Here is my finished up cycle project. Made from two pair of blue jeans, one Thai fisherman pants, and one quilted vest. Garment Designer provided the pattern. It is a mosaic of sorts, built by pieces that are engineered in position made easy by using the pattern as a template.

I loved creating these pants. I started me measuring a favorite pair of pants for fit and then developed the pattern in Garment Designer with minor changes. I had fun adding a few design details such as the lantern panel with pleats at the hem. The fabric is a mix of cotton and linen.
