THE LAST POST
All good things come to an end, but before I ride off into the sunset I want to say “ THANK YOU “ for all the loyalty, friendship, and support from everyone whose paths crossed with Vintage over the years. The shop under Billy is doing fantastic and I’m proud of his ethics and business conduct. I have never been a face book type guy, but I have enjoyed writing the posts that you have read through the years. I plan on taking the site down in a few weeks, but if you run into me around town, we can talk about the “ Good Old Days “!!!!!!

HELLO 2026 UPDATE:

I want to update everyone on the status of the Eight Lawsuits filed against Vintage Fi****ms. The plaintiffs in the six state court lawsuits have all agreed to dismiss their claims against Vintage Fi****ms and we are awaiting final court approval of those dismissals. With regard to the two federal court cases, the City of Rochester has dismissed its claims against Vintage Fi****ms and a motion to dismiss is pending in the case brought by the City of Buffalo. Vintage Fi****ms expects to prevail in that case, either at the present stage or after discovery if necessary.
I want to thank all of the people, clubs, and organizations who have supported Vintage Fi****ms since 2022.
A special “Thank You” to S.C.O.P.E (Shooters Committee on Political Education) and NYSRPA (New York Rifle & Pistol Association) who both played an important role in supporting the defense of Vintage Fi****ms and Firearm Ownership in New York State.
Finally, a sincere “Great Job” to the law offices of Darlene L Donald in Endicott, NY; Lehmann Major List, PPLC in Concord NH; and Braum / Rudd in Dayton Ohio.

Hello Hunters & Future Hunters! Ahhhhh another season is about to start. My favorite time of year. Since 1958 when my uncle took me out for opening day of PA small game I was hooked!!! Brown and Red everywhere you looked. Dogs running and gunshots echoing down the valleys and across the fields. Lines of hunters brushing out the cornfields and diners and taverns full of people having fun. Those days are gone and never coming back, but the sport still lives and let’s do our best to keep it alive!!! Land management and protection of predators has erased much of the small game, but some still exists and there’s plenty of deer left. Go out hunting this year!! No excuses! Nothing fancy needed, sitting against a tree, gun in hand, with a few friends, will do wonders for your mental health! Remember, any Buck is a “Trophy” to the hunter that shoots it. Most importantly, take a young boy or girl out for their first hunt. Something special about that that’s become lost in our society.

UPDATE TIME: On July 15, 2025 I sat down with 10 lawyers present and 17 on video conference for approximately 6 hours and answered questions concerning the legal sale of a rifle to Payton Gendron and later used in the horrific Tops Supermarket Shooting in Buffalo, NY in May of 2022. The opposing lawyers were very professional, but almost all the questions were designed to make it appear I did something wrong. I was truthful to the best of my recollection and did my best to answer their questions. It was my first deposition and hopefully my last! 6 hours of answering questions is not easy and I was glad when it was over! My attorneys will now proceed with a motion for summary judgement and a dismissal of the lawsuits as frivolous and unwarranted. In my opinion and many others the legal system should never have left these actions against Vintage Fi****ms LLC proceed. Vintage is still standing strong to protect your and future generations right to own and possess fi****ms!!!!

Rain, Rain, go away and come again another day! Well that day is every day down at the shop!! Lots of new treasures stacked up waiting for a lucky guy or girl to find them! As my friend Cliff said the other day, “ This place is the best therapy money can buy! “. Stop in any day 12-6 ( Except Sunday ). Billy & Chuckie will make sure you find the sunshine you need !!!

Hello Turkey Hunters! Two weeks from today Turkey Season opens. No excuses this year! Get out there and enjoy the season! More birds are being seen this year than in the past, so hopefully the “ Good old days “ are returning. If you are just getting into the sport, the shop is full of hardware and Billy or Chuckie will help out select the perfect shotgun. P.S. HUNTERS HUNT! NON-HUNTERS MAKE EXCUSES!!!

Is “ APATHY “ New York State Gun Owners worst enemy??? Last evening at the request of a friend, I attended a club event that hosted two S.C.O.P.E. speakers. My friend informed me the club had over 700 members and the informational gathering was advertised in a local paper and club bulletin. I expect at least a 100 people, he said. S.C.O.P.E has been a supporter of Vintage in the six lawsuits I am engaged in, so I was glad to attend and show my support. At 7:00 the meeting started with 7 attendees!!! Embarrassing and sad!! The presenters did a fantastic job and never once eluded to the poor attendance. During the presentation I was handed a flyer with the Top Ten Most Egregious Firearm Legislation Being Considered. Example: Bill S00418/AO1774. Establishes a class A misdemeanor to procure more than one firearm during a period of 30 days. The other 9 are worse! SCARY !!!Facebook tells me I have 1900 followers, so hopefully now their was 1,907 attendees at that meeting!! S.C.O.P.E. needs members! Help Vintage, yourself, and all Firearm owners! Google-Download-Join!! Not a computer person, this weekend is the Syracuse Gun Show ( March 15&16 ). I “ think” S.C.O.P.E. has a table there. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! Join now!! Make March 2025 the month you stepped up and joined the fight to keep your & future generations 2nd Amendment rights safe !!!

HAPPY VALENTINES’S DAY! Just a quick update on what’s going on with the six law suits filed against Vintage Fi****ms. Nothing! For the last couple months the anti-gun groups are involved in a process called, “ Discovery “. It’s very hard to find wrongdoing, when there’s none to find! Of course, maybe, those groups are just trying to show Vintage a “ Little Love “ for February!! Enjoy those Roses ladies! Everybody loves a ROSE 🌹!

Hello Hunters! This Saturday ( November 16, 2024 ) is Opening Day! Every year less and less hunters enter the woods. Excuses abound and the tradition that use to have Grandfathers - Fathers - Sons - Daughters - Friends - and Hunting Buddies get together is slowly fading away. Make that phone call, get the gear ready, pick your stand, check the gun and get out this season! Make some memories that will last a lifetime!! AND - stop down to the gunshop with a story and picture of your “ Trophy “!

Hello Gun Guys & Gals! Ahhh - my favorite time of year is approaching quickly! The tang of the bowstring and the crack of the rifle. The shop can’t help with bow season, but small game & deer is a different scenario! Old Billy down at the shop has the store “ packed “ with Shotguns and Rifles, plus he has the shop open 12 to 6 Monday thru Saturday. Trust me, there is a ton of hardware available for purchase. Stop in and find a treasure!
