Illuminations Lighting, Inc. is gearing up for our 8th Christmas season, and we’re looking for energetic, dependable, hardworking people to join our holiday lighting team!
This isn’t your typical seasonal job. Our crews spend the fall transforming homes, businesses, and commercial properties into incredible holiday displays throughout the region. If you enjoy working outdoors, working with your hands, being part of a team, and seeing the results of your work at the end of every day, we want to hear from you.
💰 PAY & OPPORTUNITIES
**Ground Crew:** $17/hour
**Roof Installers:** $20/hour
**PLUS:** Overtime, bonus pay & performance incentives
Weekly overtime opportunities are available throughout the season, with unlimited overtime available during our busy November installation season.
Both full-time and part-time weekday positions are available.
📅 SEASON SCHEDULE
**September 3 – Early December** -
Installation of residential and commercial Christmas lighting displays.
**Mid-December**
Approximately 2–3 weeks off for the holidays.
**January 4 – Early February**
Removal and organization of holiday lighting displays.
Typical workdays are **Monday–Friday, averaging 8–10 hours per day.** Start time is generally **8:30 AM during installation season** and **9:00 AM during January removals.**
Because we work outdoors, schedules and hours can vary based on weather and seasonal deadlines. Some Saturdays may be required during high demand dates in November or if weather delays our install schedule.
🎅 WHAT YOU'LL DO
You’ll work alongside our experienced crew to:
* Load company vehicles and prepare materials for each day's projects
* Install and remove professional Christmas lighting and décor
* Safely carry, maneuver, and use ladders ranging from 4–32 feet, depending on your position
* Work efficiently while paying close attention to details
* Follow installation plans and instructions from crew leaders
* Treat customers, their homes, businesses, and property with respect
* Help keep vehicles, equipment, and our shop organized
⭐ WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't need to be a Christmas lighting expert—we can teach the right person.
You do need to be:
* Dependable and punctual
* Hardworking with a positive attitude
* Comfortable working outdoors in changing fall and winter weather
* Able to follow directions and communicate with your crew
* Professional and respectful around our customers
* Comfortable working at heights if applying as a Roof Installer
* At least 18 years old
* In possession of a valid driver's license
* Able to provide reliable transportation
* Able to successfully complete a background check
**Reliability is extremely important.** Our installation season is short and our customers are counting on us to have their displays completed before the holidays. Team members must maintain dependable attendance and communicate appropriately regarding any absence.
