What many people may not realize is that weeks of planning, preparation, and behind-the-scenes work go into creating a special event like the Binghamton Black Bears’ Championship Banner Raising. 🏆

We would like to publicly thank Jerry Mess of Mess's Fireworks for his support, expertise, and oversight of Saturday night’s pyrotechnics. It’s always something special when local businesses (and Black Bears sponsors) can work together to create an unforgettable experience for our community.

We would also like to recognize Trevor, Josh, and Gary of the Binghamton Black Bears, who were all fantastic to collaborate with throughout the planning and setup process.

Here are a few behind-the-scenes photos showing what went into bringing Banner Raising Night to life. We’re incredibly proud to have played a part in celebrating another championship in Binghamton! 🐻🏒🏆

💚 Downtown Binghamton is glowing with Bearcat pride! 🤍

This weekend, Binghamton University is celebrating Alumni Weekend, and last night our Illuminations crew helped transform Washington Street with a whole lot of GREEN & WHITE!

We’ve been proud to partner with Binghamton University for years, and this is always one of our favorite events to light. There’s just something special about seeing downtown come alive while welcoming Bearcats back home! 💚

From numerous trees and bushes wrapped in green and white lights, to our custom pole-mounted illuminated “B” logos, tent lighting, and much more — our team was busy making sure Washington Street was ready to shine!

Welcome back, Bearcats! We hope everyone has an incredible Alumni Weekend!

Hey, Black Bears fans—Opening Night is just days away! 🐻🏒

As a proud sponsor of the Binghamton Black Bears, Illuminations Lighting is always looking for new ways to enhance the fan experience at the Arena. This season, we’re excited to introduce an all-new interactive LIGHT SHOW at every Black Bears home game!

📱 Watch for the QR code on the jumbotron and throughout the Arena. Scan it, allow camera access, and your phone’s flashlight will become part of the show. The more fans who participate, the more incredible it will be!

But that’s not all…

🔥 NEW THIS SEASON: A 2nd light show and the end of the second intermission! Take your bathroom break, refresh your drinks, and return to your seat early as we LIGHT UP THE DEN and welcome the Black Bears back onto the ice for the third period!

Get ready, Binghamton—the Arena is about to get LIT!
