Fake Pokemon cards have been coming out in force lately. Fourth person in 7 days came in asking me to verify their cards. All four had fake cards. One basically knew his cards were fake. He was trying to trade them, but when I told him his two PSA cards were in fake PSA holders, he did not look surprised, grabbed his cards from me, and took off like a rocket. All four instances involved high dollar cards. I wrote a letter to the police for one of the guys so the purchaser could pursue charges, might have to do another one today for someone else. To the stores/people out there selling this, the “but I thought it was real” excuse is BS. If you cannot tell the difference between a fake and a real card you should not be in business. Screwing customers over is not a learning curve. Just stop. To the buyers out there, if it’s too good to be true…it is. No one is selling a $2k card for $500.
