Plenty of good finds for the guys including fishing gear, power, hand and yard tools. Pressure washer with accessories and Toro lawn mower. Older Amo boxes, ladders, step stools, electrical accessories, Large bolts to tiny screws. Circular saws, compound miter saw, storage boxes of plenty and wiring of small sizes. Items available in garage and large shed. Please ask for help before removing anything from walls in shed.

Happy Tuesday all.

So as most of you know we have been dealing with damage to our home from a van driving into the back of it on May 29th.

We are responsible for taking all photos and videos to submit to insurance of the damage.

We were required to obtain the police report that took 3 weeks to get and submit.

In addition to all of this we had to board up the wall and remove all of the block, glass and drywall to uncover personal items and list what was lost.

Our livingroom is like a camp with cots, clothes racks, blankets, pillows and toys while grand kids visit as planned.

While dealing with all of this some lovely Englewood resident decided to call Sarasota County Code Enforcement and file a complaint on our house in Venice for the construction debris and damaged items outside the home. Our home is now labeled a nuisance property.

Code Enforcement has been understanding and given us extra time to pay out of pocket to remove all of the debris ourselves. This was included in the estimate for the contractor but we will have to do it ourselves because of the complaint.

I do not know about you but, we have always been supportive of others and tried to help others any way we could.

It is a miserable soul that finds joy in adding additional stress to an already stressful situation due to no fault of our own. We would not be going through all of this if the UNLICENSED driver was not at the wheel of the van.

We have been more than understanding and non judgemental of the small business that the van belonged to.

Thank you Sheila, for adding to our stress with your kind ways. I can honestly say that my family would be the better ones and extend a helping hand if you were in a similar situation. Kindness, compassion and umderstanding goes a long way.

Happy Saturday all!

Past Perfect has been hard at it again and will be bringing in more new finds throughout the coming week. We have clothing, hand made pottery, tools, kitchen gadgets and small appliances. Toss in a little glow along with micro and mini figurines, Stangle, Hall, Corning, Pyrex, bakeware and rolling pins and soooooo much more.
