We have phones for all budgets and our team is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Lifeline is a government assistance program that provide discounts on your monthly service provided by Head Start Telecom, Inc. Only eligible households may enroll; benefits are non-transferrable and limited to one per household. Offers may vary; service not be available in all areas. 🌟 Looking for a Meaningful Way to Give Back? Volunteer with SBILC! 🌟
Sandra Beasley Independent Living Center (SBILC) is looking for volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities throughout North Central Oklahoma.
Whether you have a few hours a month or can help on a regular basis, there are many ways to get involved:
🗂️ Information & Referral – Help connect people with valuable community resources.
🎯 Skills Training – Assist with classes that help individuals build independence and everyday life skills.
📣 Advocacy & Outreach – Join us at community events and help spread awareness about disability rights and available services.
🤝 Peer Counseling – Share encouragement, understanding, and lived experience with others.
🌱 Transition Services – Support youth transitioning into adulthood and individuals moving back into the community from nursing facilities.
We also welcome volunteers who can assist with:
✅ Outreach events
✅ DME Closet organization
✅ Office projects
✅ Inventory organization
✅ Light maintenance and facility projects
✅ Special events and community activities
No special experience is required—just a willingness to help and a passion for making our community more inclusive and accessible.
