Wallowa County Grain Growers is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Assistant Controller to join our team in Enterprise, Oregon!
If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, improving processes, and making a meaningful impact on a local organization, we'd love to meet you.
As our Assistant Controller, you'll help support the financial operations of our multi-department cooperative by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, audits, and accounting operations while working closely with our leadership team.
What we're looking for:
✔ Accounting or finance experience
✔ Strong analytical and organizational skills
✔ Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations
✔ Proficiency with Excel and accounting software
✔ A team player with a commitment to accuracy and integrity

🎉 **Welcome Our New General Manager!** 🎉

Wallowa County Grain Growers is pleased to officially welcome **Shawn Brooks** as our new General Manager!

Shawn brings more than 30 years of leadership, operations, sales, and project management experience to WCGG. His background includes serving as a Regional Manager for a Central Oregon home builder and spending over two decades with a large HVAC company in both commercial project management and residential sales and management roles.

In 2021, Shawn and his wife fulfilled a long-time dream of moving to Wallowa County, a community they had admired for many years. Family is important to Shawn, and he and his wife have been married for 38 years and enjoy a close relationship with their two adult children.

When he’s not working, Shawn enjoys hunting, hiking in the backcountry, raising and training pack goats, training hunting dogs, and staying active through CrossFit and rucking.

Please join us in giving Shawn a warm Wallowa County Grain Growers welcome! We are excited for the experience, leadership, and vision he brings as we continue serving our members, customers, employees, and communities.
