At the Authentication & Grading Services offices today. We scanned in a really interesting piece of early Gulf Refining Ephemera this morning. This smaller sized 15 page Tire & Mileage Record Book shows imagery of one of the first Porcelain Fl**ge Signs for Supreme Auto Oil as well as images of the early Pin-Striped Supreme Oil Product Cans. What is really interesting about this Record Booklet is the Manufacturing expiration date of March 25th, 1918 meaning that both the Pin-Striped can as well as the Supreme Auto Oil Porcelain Fl**ge Signs were produced and marketed earlier than March of 1918, older than what we anticipated! Accurate information is what will keep our hobby alive and its always great to ad new bits of information to our archive. Share it if you'd like and enjoy! 👊🏼
