Elderberry kits, elderberry syrups and tea blends are available!

I'm working on getting the vendor spots restocked and you can always schedule a porch pick up. The self service hours of the porch store aren't available yet due to the heat. But I'll let you know as soon it's cold enough.

Personally, I'm navigating being a homeschool mom for the first time, a couple of health issues with close loved ones and a cleaning business that demand a lot of my time. That means while I'm still passionate about everything Humble Remedies is, I can't devote as much time to it this year as others without sacrificing my sanity.

Please know I'm always happy to talk all things "crunchy mom" with you in messages or on my porch.
I'm not annoyed when you reach out to order items for a porch pick up, quite the opposite in fact. I'm honored that some of you continue to order from me even when I can't show up here like I usually try to.

Life Update

This year, I’m giving myself permission to slow down. Last year I pushed hard, said yes to too much, and eventually hit a level of burnout I can’t ignore anymore. So in 2026, I’m choosing better boundaries, more rest, and more time with my family.
I’ll be stepping back from social media and cutting way back on vendor shows for a while. I’m not disappearing—I’ll still keep my porch store open, and I’ll continue supplying the shops that currently carry my items. But I’m treating this as a “rest year” to rebuild a healthier work–life balance and reconnect with the joy behind what I make.
Thank you for understanding, for supporting my little business in all the ways you do, and for giving me the space to breathe and reset. I’m excited to come back refreshed, inspired, and grounded when the time is right.

As I prepared the last few bags of elderberry syrup kits to go out to a vendor store from elderberries grown by me, I had to pause in gratitude. Plant medicine is my passion, but it doesn't mean it's an easy path to navigate. I'm always learning and finding my way through the adult version of growing pains with this business.

Two years ago I pruned my elderberry trees and thought I might have lost them that year. The harvest was so small, many branches breaking after their rapid growth post pruning. This year, I harvested the largest quantity of elderberries ever and will make it through January with selling kits solely from our property! And that was even after doing 5 vendor events this year in comparison to 1 last year. I would love to be able to grow all of the elderberries I need every year. While I don't think that will ever happen with just two plants, I'm thrilled that they got me this far this year!

All Purpose Healing Salve is our quick go to for most things skin, sore muscle or joint related. I begin by infusing olive oil with dried calendula flowers, comfrey and broadleaf plantain leaves. Then beeswax is added to thicken. Vitamin E and healing essential oils are added as the last step.

*Essential oil free versions are available as well for those who may be allergic or desire use in sensitive areas.
