🍂 TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY: There’s something about soft carpet on a cool fall morning.
Have you ever stepped out of bed on a chilly October morning and appreciated the warmth and softness of carpet under your feet?
That simple feeling is one of the reasons carpet continues to be such a great choice for bedrooms. It can add warmth, comfort and a quieter, more inviting feel to a space especially as the mornings get cooler here in Pennsylvania.
For this Bird-in-Hand, PA bedroom, our team helped create that cozy feeling with new carpet that looks beautiful while also giving the room a comfortable place to start and end the day.
At Nolt’s Floor Covering, we believe the finished floor is about more than just how it looks. The product matters. The installation matters. And the details matter.
We take the time to help customers understand their options, from carpet and hardwood to luxury vinyl, laminate, tile and more. Then our installation team works carefully to make sure the finished project looks the way it should.
And while this Transformation Tuesday features a bedroom, our work goes far beyond residential homes. We sell and install flooring and tile for:
🏠 Residential homes
🏢 Main Street businesses
🏗️ Large commercial projects
For more than 25 years, Nolt’s has been a local, family and Christian-owned and operated flooring and tile retailer and installer, serving our communities from both of our locations:
📍 Ephrata, PA
📍 Myerstown, PA
We’re also grateful for the trust our customers have placed in us, reflected in 195+ Google reviews between our two locations.
So, what makes a floor feel right for a particular room? Sometimes it’s durability. Sometimes it’s easy maintenance. And sometimes, like this bedroom, it’s simply the feeling of stepping onto something soft and warm on a cool fall morning.
If you’re curious about what flooring might work well in your home or business, stop by one of our locations and let’s talk. No pressure just helpful flooring advice from people who work with flooring every day.

TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY: Is your basement ready for the big game?
There’s something special about having a basement that goes from an overlooked space to the place everyone wants to gather.
That’s exactly what happened with this beautifully transformed basement in Lititz, PA.
The right flooring can completely change how a space feels but there’s more to choosing flooring for an entertainment room than simply finding something that looks good.
🤔 What should you think about?
• How much traffic will the room get?
• Will food and drinks be part of the gathering?
• Do you need something easy to clean and maintain?
• How will the flooring work with the rest of the room?
• And perhaps most importantly how well will the product and installation hold up over time?
At Nolt’s Floor Covering, we believe those questions are worth asking before you ever choose a flooring product.
We’re passionate about pairing quality products with quality installation, while paying attention to the details that can make a finished project look and perform so much better.
As a local, family, Christian-owned and operated flooring and tile retailer and installer, we’ve been serving our neighbors for over 25 years.
And we’re grateful for the trust our customers have placed in us, reflected in over 195 Google reviews between our two locations.
But here’s something you may not know…
We don’t just do residential flooring.
Nolt’s sells and installs all types of residential flooring and tile, Main Street commercial flooring, and large commercial flooring and tile projects.
From a basement entertainment room in Lititz to a commercial project across Lancaster or Lebanon County, we’re interested in understanding what you’re trying to accomplish and helping you find the right flooring solution.
📍 Ephrata, PA
📍 Myerstown, PA
So, if you’re looking at your basement and thinking, “This could really become something,” maybe it’s time to start asking a few questions.
Stop by one of our locations, bring us your ideas, and let’s see what’s possible.

🏡 TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY | A Beautiful Home, Transformed
What happens when quality flooring, thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and attention to the little details all come together?
You get a transformation like this. 👀
We were honored to work with Inch by Inch Construction, Inc. on this beautifully transformed home in Myerstown, PA, providing and installing a combination of hardwood, LVT, and carpet throughout the home.
One thing we love about projects like this is seeing how different flooring materials can work together to create a home that feels comfortable, cohesive, and completely finished.
✨ Hardwood can bring warmth and timeless character.
✨ LVT offers a durable, practical option for areas that see plenty of everyday activity.
✨ Carpet adds softness and comfort where you want it most.
The right flooring isn't necessarily the same throughout an entire home. Sometimes the best result comes from choosing the material that fits how each space is actually going to be used.
That's why we're passionate about more than just selling flooring. We enjoy helping homeowners understand their options and then pairing quality products with quality installation and careful attention to detail.
At Nolt's Floor Covering, we're a local, family, Christian-owned and operated flooring and tile retail store and installer, serving our communities for over 25 years.

🏡 Transformation Tuesday: When the Floor Becomes the Feature
What happens when you combine a beautiful hardwood product, a timeless pattern, and an installer who pays attention to the little things?
You get a transformation like this. 👀
For this Ephrata, PA home, our team installed Mirage hardwood flooring in a custom herringbone pattern, using a combination of glue and nail installation to create a floor that is as substantial as it is beautiful. We also installed a custom tile entry to give the transition into the home its own finished look.
And if you look closely at the finished photos, you'll notice something important:
The beauty isn't just in the flooring itself. It's in the details.
Herringbone installation requires careful planning, layout, cutting and installation. The direction of the pattern has to work with the room, the walls, doorways and surrounding features. A premium hardwood floor deserves more than simply putting boards on the floor it deserves an installation that allows the product to shine.
That's something we've always been passionate about at Nolt's Floor Covering.
We're a local, family-owned, Christian-owned and operated flooring and tile company, and we've been helping homeowners and businesses with their flooring projects for over 25 years.
We believe quality starts with choosing the right product but it doesn't end there.
The product matters. The preparation matters. The installation matters. And the details matter.
That's also why we're proud to have over 195 Google reviews between our two locations. Those reviews represent real customers who trusted our team with their homes and businesses.
And while beautiful residential projects like this one are a big part of what we do, we're not limited to homes. We sell and install:
✔️ Hardwood flooring
✔️ Luxury vinyl plank & LVT
✔️ Carpet
✔️ Tile & custom tile work
✔️ Sheet vinyl
✔️ Stair treads
✔️ Custom showers & backsplashes
✔️ Main Street commercial flooring
✔️ Large commercial flooring & tile
So here's a question worth asking before your next flooring project:
Are you choosing flooring based only on what looks good or are you thinking about how the product, installation method, layout and craftsmanship all work together?
That's where an experienced flooring professional can make a difference.

Transformation Tuesday: What’s the difference between buying flooring and getting the right flooring? 🤔
It’s a question worth asking before you ever pick out a color or pattern.
When you walk into a big box store, you may find plenty of flooring choices. But choosing the right flooring for your home or business involves more than finding something you like on a shelf.
At Nolt’s Floor Covering, we believe the difference is in the people helping you make the decision.
We’re a local, family-owned, Christian-owned and operated flooring and tile business that has been serving our community for more than 25 years. We don’t just sell flooring we sell AND install it.
And because our team works with flooring every day, we can help you think through questions like:
• What flooring makes sense for your lifestyle?
• Which products will hold up to kids, pets, traffic and everyday wear?
• Is waterproof really the best choice for your space?
• What installation method does your particular floor require?
• What should you know about the subfloor before installation begins?
• Which products make sense for a home… and which are better suited for a business?
That experience matters.
It’s also why we’re proud to have 195+ Google reviews between our two locations. Those reviews come from homeowners and businesses who trusted us with their flooring projects.
And here’s something many people don’t realize:
We’re not just a residential flooring store.
We sell and install all types of residential, Main Street commercial and large commercial flooring and tile projects—from a single room in your home to larger commercial spaces.
You’ll find us at two convenient locations:
📍 Ephrata, PA
📍 Myerstown, PA
So, the next time you’re shopping for flooring, maybe the better question isn’t “Who has the biggest selection?”
Maybe it’s “Who will help me choose the right floor and then install it correctly?”
If you’re starting to think about a flooring or tile project, stop by one of our showrooms. We’d be happy to help you explore your options without the pressure.
