After the severe weather that swept through Erie forced this weekend’s Renaissance Faire themed market from its original home, we were so disappointed for everyone involved.

Because we know an event like this doesn't simply appear overnight...

There are organizers who spend months planning, artists and makers creating special pieces, vendors preparing their booths, performers rehearsing, and guests who have been working on costumes and looking forward to spending a magical day together.

But apparently, it takes more than a storm to stop this kingdom. 🏰🐉⚔️🛡️🌿

THE FAIRE HAS FOUND A NEW HOME! ✨⭐🌙

The event has been moved to McClelland Park, and we couldn't be happier to hear that all of that creativity, hard work and excitement will still have its day.🚩

IT WAS A DARK AND STORMY NIGHT...🌧️⚡🕰️💀🌙

Apparently, this is how Halloween begins at Vintage Wonderland...

I opened the store late this morning because we had to clean up all the storm damage out front...
Debris and broken glass and ceramic pots everywhere!

Finally, I got inside, went behind the counter and started opening the register for the day...

Then I heard...

COO-COO.🐦

I stopped.

That old cuckoo clock has been hanging in the wall behind the front door had been silent and not working ALL SUMMER...

I walked over...

The pendulum was swinging!

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.🕰️

Maybe all the wind and vibration from the storm somehow shook the old clock back to life.

Or maybe...

Halloween has officially awakened at Vintage Wonderland... 🌧️⚡🕰️💀🌙

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that a private memorial service was held this morning for our fallen comrade, one of the three victims of Sunday evening’s senseless MURDER at Vintage Wonderland. 🐦‍⬛🖤

Family, friends and surviving members of the murder gathered around the casket to pay their respects.
🖤 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛ 🐦‍⬛
The service concluded with a moving 21-CAW SALUTE.

Halloween is Coming! 🐦‍⬛🪦🦋🪻🌿

Among the moss and tangled ivy, the garden is beginning to awaken. Black roses bloom beside old bones. Orchids grow among forgotten graves. Moths and beetles emerge beneath the moonlight, snakes slip quietly through the leaves, and the crows have already found their places among the branches.

Because even in the presence of death,
LIFE IS EVERYWHERE...
