Friday’s last day event will feature free hotdogs dogs and refreshments beginning at 12:00 while supplies last. Grab bags of comics will be sold for $2.00. Don’t forget to stop and sign our memory wall!

This Saturday we will be closed for the 4th of July. Starting Sunday the 5th, store wide sales will begin. Thanks to everyone who has been stopping by the store to chat about old times or has left a kind comment on social media. We appreciate all of you.

Dear valued Books Galore customers,

After 43 wonderful years of serving the Erie community, we are writing to let you know that Books Galore will be permanently closing its doors on July 31, 2026.
This journey started as a dream of the late Duane Wallin. His desire was to provide books, comic books, games and figures to all! His passion for reading brought his dream to life. It was his absolute privilege to do so alongside customers like you. Your loyalty, feedback and friendship have been the heartbeat of this business. We truly would never have made it this far without your incredible support.Before we close, we would love for you to visit one last time. We will host a customer appreciation farewell event on our last day, July 31st. We will be featuring storewide discounts, light refreshments and a memory wall for you to leave your message.Through the month of July, we will operate our regular hours. Everything in the store is discounted, prices can be found on fliers around the store. All sales will be final. Please be sure to redeem any gift cards before our final day. If you have any questions regarding existing orders, please feel free to ask any of the staff. We will gladly assist you.Thank you again for being part of the Books Galore family. We will cherish the memories that we have built together.
