It’s crazy how something that starts as a simple strip of fabric can turn into something completely different with a little sewing, elastic, and patience. 😂

If you’re new around here, let me introduce myself! 👋

I’m Elissia, the maker behind Ace Custom Creations. ❤️

I make a little bit of everything—crochet, sewing, shirts, cups, decals, personalized gifts…basically, if I can make it, I’m probably going to try it! 😂

And if I’m being completely honest, I’m still figuring a LOT of this out as I go. Some projects turn out amazing, some make me want to throw my sewing machine out the window, and there’s usually a whole lot of trial and error happening behind the scenes. 🤣

So this month, I thought I’d let you see more of the person behind the products.

You’ll see the projects I’m working on, the good, the bad, the crafting fails, the little wins, and everything that comes with trying to build a small business from the ground up.

Right now, I’m cleaning up my workspace because we’ve got a new project coming… 👀

POV: You’ve been fighting with a lining for DAYS… 🫠🧵

FINALLY… I got the dang thing sewn together. 🙌
I was feeling pretty proud of myself.

Then I went to put it inside my crocheted bag…

GUESS WHAT? 🤦‍♀️😂

IT. DOESN’T. FIT.

It’s too tall, not wide enough, and there is absolutely NO way I’m getting it sewn into this bag as-is. 😭

So now I’m sitting here staring at it trying to figure out how to fix it without taking apart HALF of the project. 😩

Apparently this bag had other plans for me. 😂

Do I:
🧵 Take it apart and redo it?
✂️ Modify the lining?
🤔 Pretend I never started this project?

Stay tuned… because I have NOT admitted defeat yet. 😂

🧵 Watching fabric turn into something useful never gets old.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at me sewing together a 10” fabric basket! It may look quick on video, but every cut, pin, stitch, and press takes time to get just right.

I’m still learning, improving, and finding new products to add to Ace Custom Creations—and I’m loving every minute of it. ❤️

Every new skill opens the door to new products. ❤️

Today’s workspace is all set up, and I’m stepping outside my comfort zone with a sewing project. It’s still in the early stages, but I can’t wait to show you the finished result!

🚗✨ Small business wins never get old!

I just received an order from a local tattoo artist to make custom decals for his vehicle! 🎉

Every new order is exciting, but there’s something extra special about working with other local businesses. Thank you for trusting Ace Custom Creations with your vision!

I can’t wait to get these designed, cut, and installed. I’ll definitely be sharing the finished product once it’s complete (with permission, of course 😉).
