Our phones blowing up from people looking for perch. Best ive got is when the water cools down. Plenty of perch it's getting them to bite is the problem right now.

Out on the lake yesterday. Stopped on the north side of the dump to see Plenty of marks. Set up and got 2 sheephead. Packed up and fished 75 to 79 fow due north of the dump. Didn't take us too long once we got dialed in. Joe running his spinners and I had an old bayrat black momba, and nascar uv spoon got us our limits. 3 setting on a 102 deeper diver, 142 out. Downriggers right around 50.

Steelhead are staging off the mile creeks and some have come in the creeks. Don't want to put up with the nonsense you see at the popular places. Head east. Smoking fish already and egg sacks are ready. Small selection of ugbugs currently. Chartreuse and white spinners are in stock. Great price on noodle rods. Need new line?

Walleye reports are not like a week ago. Going deep trolling and drifting i see boats around 60 to 65 and trolling around 75 to 100. Fish are deeper in the water column.

The perch bite isn't far off. A little cooler water so the shrimp go down in the sand and the perch eat minnows.

Catfish are being caught off the north and south pier.

19 years at this little store and serving all the anglers that come to fish. First year hours 400am to 10pm. That's crazy doing that by myself the first couple years and the crazy story why I changed the hours. Im 69 now and trying not to put a time on calling it a day. We've met so many awesome friends and have tried our best to keep bait and tackle affordable to everyone. Price of grubbs 19 years ago $1. Today's price $1. Hopefully we can pass the baton. Thank you for being there because without you id be doing something definitely not as much fun as helping you.

Adding a new one this year that's hand down so darn good. Brown sugar bourbon with brown sugar and maple with a splash of apple bourbon and smoked in pear chips . It's a truly wonderful blend of flavors and not one is overpowering that you can taste the fish.
