Happy Birthday to American chemist Waldo Semon, born Sept. 10th, 1898. We have him to thank for coming up with the process of plastisizing polyvinyl chloride (100 years ago), which lead to the invention of the vinyl records that the world has enjoyed for past 78 years. Think of the millions of artists that were able to share their music with billions of people... and still to this day. Enjoy a spin, today, in Waldo's honor.

"Blackstar" (originally released in 2016, on his birthday... 2 days later, David passed away at the age of 69)

BRAND NEW VINYL REISSUE:

"Quebec" is WEEN's eighth studio album (originally released in 2003).

There was a 2003 U.S. pressing of this album, but it is extremely hard to find. This is the first time that Quebec has been reissued on vinyl in the U.S. since the 2003 pressing.

BRAND NEW VINYL REISSUE:

This is Megadeth's sixth studio album, "Youthanasia" (originally released in 1994)

This is the first time that this album has been pressed to standard black vinyl, in the U.S.

There were vinyl issues that were pressed in the 90's, however, not in the U.S. market.

Also, there was a previously released "picture disc" version that came out in the U.S. in 2014... but picture discs are not the same as vinyl, if you ask me, when it comes to sound quality.
