Furnishing my New apartment... What style?

Dark Academia 🐦‍⬛💀🦋🌙🌿
I bought this column from a guy a few years ago and had it in different areas of the shop, but it just never fit the vibe anywhere I put it... On my day off I went around town looking for stuff to furnish my new place, and found this statue I've had my eye on for a few years...she is covered with moss!
I put the 2 pieces together and they look like they were made for each other!

Im going for an eclectic mix of weird & wonderful...
Science & Nature - Dark meets Light...
Gothic Country meets Dark Academia
with a little Steampunk... 🐦‍⬛💀🦋🌙🌿

My colors are moss green, black, warm woods and weathered metals... and there will be crows, lots of crows everywhere! Wait till you see what I'm going to do above my kitchen cabinets! 🐦‍⬛💀🦋🌙🌿

I have like 5 pieces of furniture right now...
I need to make this apartment feel like my home...
I found a nice dining table and chairs and a couple of comfy chairs for the living room... But...

I need a Queen size mattress badly!
My air mattress has a slow leak which is very uncomfortable!

Midnight in Wonderland..✨🪵🐦💔✨
A Letter to Our Vintage Wonderland Family...💔

It is with a heavy heart that I share some sad news.
Many of you followed the story of Woodie, the injured Pileated Woodpecker that I found injured in my front yard before being transported to Tamarack Wildlife Center by one of my caring customers,
We were all hoping for a miracle...❤️

This week I received the news that Woodie's injuries were simply too severe. After a full medical evaluation, the veterinarians determined that he had suffered irreversible spinal trauma. There was no chance of recovery, and the compassionate decision was made to let him pass peacefully rather than continue to suffer...💔

While this isn't the ending any of us wanted, there is comfort in knowing that Woodie did not spend his final hours alone, frightened, or in pain. Because so many of you cared, he was rescued, transported, treated with kindness, and given comfort and dignity in his final moments. ❤️

Sometimes helping wildlife doesn't always mean saving a life. Sometimes it means preventing suffering. That compassion matters.❤️

I want to thank every one of you who reached out, shared words of encouragement, and cared about a bird you had never even met. Your kindness reminds me why I love this community so much! ❤️

I am OBSESSED with eggs lately...
Every morning I make scrambled eggs with whatever I had leftover from dinner the night before...
This was a burrito bowl from Taco Bell and I added eggs, cheese and ham...so good! That and a glass of apple cider or lemonade... Im craving more natural foods without chemicals... Water tastes bad...
Pasta & Meatball or Greek Fries Omelettes are good too! Since the Cancer...I can only eat soft foods, because they removed my teeth... I mainly ate chicken, but lately it's giving me the ICK! I've been craving eggs and red meat...at least my taste buds are coming back... Now if I could just get my legs and feet to work again...lol
