It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved co-owner, husband, friend, and the heart behind The Trading Post, Bob Hammer.
Bob unexpectedly passed away on June 2, 2026, leaving behind his wife, Lauren, family, friends, and a community that truly loved him. His vision, hard work, and unwavering belief in building something meaningful alongside Lauren were at the center of everything The Trading Post represented. His kindness, humor, and generosity left a lasting mark on all who knew him.
Although we have closed our doors at The Trading Post, the love, memories, and impact of this community remain deeply important to us. This space was always more than a business. It was a reflection of Bob’s heart and a part of the dream he was building with Lauren.
As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we ask that you continue to keep Lauren and the entire Hammer family in your thoughts and prayers.
