While I enjoy family time this weekend, head down to Second Saturday in Meadville to shop locally. For AH-MAZING jams/jellies/pickled items from Howie's Place Bakery 😋

We will be here with salsa's, bread & butter pickles (regular and zesty), pickled garlic, candied Jalapenos, hot pepper jelly and a variety of jams.

Also, peach crisp, apple crisp, pie slices and a few packages of chocolate chip cookies.

As we celebrate our nation's birthday, I’d like to extend a thank you to the staff and volunteers at the Mellon Veteran Outreach Campus for the opportunity to participate in the Celebration on July 2nd & 3rd.

Despite the summer heat 🌞, I had such a wonderful time meeting so many friendly people, chatting about crochet 🧶 , and seeing everyone enjoy my handmade items. I'm grateful for the opportunity and look forward to participating in future events!

Join us Thursday and Friday for a celebration of America's 250th Birthday!

The MVOC campus will be full of life Thursday, July 2nd and Friday, July 3rd with live music, a car show, Bike Nite, food trucks, American Flag Sky Divers, vendors, drinks, Friday Night Fireworks sponsored by Haynes' House, and so much more.

We are in need of volunteers this week from 9AM to 2PM Monday through Wednesday, and 11AM to 10PM Thursday and Friday. We encourage volunteers to attend the volunteer meeting Tuesday, June 30th, from 5:30PM to 6:30PM for event and emergency procedure information.

Local cherries are starting!! We also started picking red raspberries, peas, zucchini and yellow squash! We are currently located in the gray barn. Just come down our main driveway and you will see the cones in front of the barn. Hours for Thursday, Friday and Saturday are 10-6. Sunday will be 10-3. Since we missed father's day last week , due to the accident, we are going to have a redo!!

☀️ That’s a wrap on the 2026 Taste of Summer Event in North East! ☀️. Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth this weekend—whether you admired my crocheting, talked about crocheting with me 😉, or took home a handmade creation. Your support means the world to this maker! Some fun highlights from the weekend:
🍋 Fruit-inspired designs were the biggest hit, especially lemons, cherries 🍒, and strawberries 🍓.
✨ 3 dozen pairs of my micro crocheted earrings found new homes!
👜 15 crocheted crossbody purses were adopted by wonderful customers.
🧣 2 beautiful crocheted shawls sold—they’re perfectly on trend with a boho-chic style.
🌸 Velvet scrunchies, cotton headbands, and bandanas also continued to be favorite summer accessories.

Every conversation, compliment, and purchase reminds me why I love creating by hand. Thank you for supporting handmade artistry and small businesses. I’m already looking forward to the next event! ❤️
