What a difference a few weeks makes in Rocky. A few weeks ago the river birches were at peak, the elk rut was at its peak in the meadow of Moraine Park and there was little snow to be found on the peaks of RMNP. Sunrise from Moraine Park this morning illustrates how fast things change in Rocky Mountain National Park. The rivers are starting to ice over and snow now abounds in the meadow of Moraine Park. Happy Friday!

We here at Omnibus are devastated to share that one of our most beloved artists has passed on. We’ve carried Miles Thompson’s gargoyles for more than 35 years, and we’ve been lucky and happy to call him a friend. His sweet soul and mischievous character were evident in his his gargoyle “children”, and we feel honored that he trusted us to help them find homes for so long. Sweet dreams, Miles. See you on the other side. ❤️

Fans of Miles Thompson’s gargoyles will be delighted to see the wall filled up again! We’ve carried these one-of-a-kind colorful characters for more than 35 years, but now that Miles is nearly 80 years old, we can’t say for certain that we’ll have them another 35 years.
