We always say Look good. Do good. And this is exactly what that looks like in action.
We received this note from our friends at Hope and Safety Alliance and wanted to share it with you:
We have been dreaming of creating a section in the clothing pantry for business casual clothing for job interviews and or court. We used the clothing we received at the shelter from the Sip and Seams event to start a new clothing rack where survivors can find more dressy items for important appointments where they need to dress up.
Clothing for court or a job interview is a common request at Jamie’s House because many survivors have job interviews and/or court dates during their stay at the shelter. It is important for us to have dressier clothing options available to support survivors as they take these big steps.
Thank you for your help in bringing our vision to life.
This is the impact you are making every time you consign, shop, and choose to give back through Sip and Seams.
