Our Original Potting Soil was built as a ready-to-use mix with the balance growers look for: enough porosity for airflow, enough water retention to support strong growth, and the drainage needed for frequent feeding.

Our coco-based blend brings together coarse peat moss, pumice, our in-house perlite, composted virgin forest material, worm castings, bat guano, fishbone meal, kelp meal, greensand, mycorrhizal fungi, and more carefully selected natural and organic ingredients, giving you a dependable foundation for fast-growing, heavy-feeding plants that need structure, oxygen, moisture, and room to thrive ⚡️

Formula 707 was built for growers who like to take the wheel 🌿😎

We created Roots Organics Formula 707 for a special kind of gardener: the one who wants a ready-to-use soil with more room to steer their own feeding program.

Compared to our other potting mixes, Formula 707 is designed with greater water-holding capacity, fewer nutrients, less perlite, and less pumice, making it a strong choice for large-container gardening and growers who want more control over what goes in after transplant 🌿

Its peat, coco, perlite, and pumice base gives your plants a dependable foundation, while the lighter nutrient charge lets you start feeding a little sooner—typically around 10–14 days after transplant for vigorous fruiting and flowering plants 🌸

Got all the good stuff on deck! Some of our best memories in the job have been visits to stores just like this one, chatting with the local reps to figure out how to best serve the communities they serve. While many of our friends have had to close up shop over the years, we’re beyond grateful for all the connections we’ve made on the road 🤜🤛
