WE SOLD OUT! ☕️

Our Dapper Dan’s Collector Mugs were officially gone by 3:30 PM today!

We knew you guys liked Luke… but WOW. ❤️

To everyone who grabbed a mug, stopped in for a photo with Luke, or came by to see what we’ve been up to — THANK YOU. You made today an ABSOLUTE BLAST!

And if you missed out on a mug, we’re sorry! We honestly didn’t expect them to disappear quite this fast.

Lesson learned. 😉 Next year, we’ll be ready — we’ll be offering a pre-order for our next collector mug.

And we’re not done yet! Tomorrow is the final day of GGs in the Ozarks, and Luke will still be here waiting for those selfies. ☕️

There’s the COFFEE CRAWL Saturday morning, a CLASSIC CAR PARADE, the GREAT BANK ROBBERY RE-ENACTMENT, a BOOK SWAP at the Eureka Springs Carnegie Public Library, live music, dancing and plenty more happening around town.

And for those making their way through the Coffee Crawl Saturday morning with their official Coffee Crawl mug, Dapper Dan will have the black coffee ready — Lorelai approved, of course. ☕️

So take your time. Wander a little. Shop a little. Take entirely too many pictures.

🎩 HAT TUESDAY

YOU THINK FASHION RULES ARE SERIOUS TODAY?

On September 15, 1922, a gentleman in New York City could find himself in actual trouble for wearing the WRONG HAT.

Yes. Really.

Back then, September 15 was the unofficial deadline for gentlemen to put away their summer straw hats and switch to felt.

And apparently...some people took that rule VERY seriously.

Two days before the deadline, groups of young men began snatching straw hats right off men's heads and smashing them.

Then they tried it on a group of dockworkers.

BAD IDEA.

The dockworkers fought back, a massive brawl followed, and things became so chaotic that traffic on the Manhattan Bridge was disrupted. The trouble continued through the city, resulting in injuries and arrests.

All because of STRAW HATS. 🎩

It became known as the STRAW HAT RIOT OF 1922.

And here's our favorite part...

TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 15.

Thankfully, hat etiquette has changed a little in the last 104 years.

And considering we're still flirting with 95° temperatures...

Gentlemen, Dapper Dan's officially gives you permission to KEEP THE SUMMER HAT. 😂

No riots necessary.
