Last year I ran a coffee shop. During that time customers would come in to our shop and share their deepest hearts with me. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. I realized that my experiences and the things I had been through were of great value to many people. I decided then that I should become a counselor or coach in order to be able to help Broken~Hearted Women AND provide for my family. I decided to go to an academy and take the schooling needed to become a Certified Life Coach!

So, besides encouraging women through the two books that I've published, I now can personally guide Broken-Hearted Women through breaking the cycles that keep them returning to Destructive Relationships so they can Redeem their true selves, Remember their deepest heart's desires and Victoriously walk in their Divine Purpose!

Let's talk about SPIRITUAL ABUSE shall we?

We hear a lot about Emotional Abuse and Physical Abuse but not a lot of people want to talk about SPIRITUAL ABUSE.
Especially among religious organizations.
..but we need to because it's rampant.

Spiritual Abuse is an undercover killer. This abuse is very sly and deceptive especially in a "biblical" marriage. Sometimes undiscovered for years. Allowing it to operate and suck the will out of one partner, whipping that spouse into "submission".

It twists the scriptures to make the '"innocent" spouse (usually the wife) submit to the will of the abuser using condemnation and guilt.

My mind was so confused by this abuse that I did not have enough clarity to make a good decision whether to leave my toxic marriage or not. Even though my husband had committed adultery and was addicted to prescription and street drugs I felt obligated as a "biblical" wife to go back and submit.

For years I struggled going back and forth between freedom and obligation.

Others had no problem telling me what a "biblical wife" should do. Which only caused more confusion.
I never wanted to break the covenant I made to God but I also could no longer breath in the toxic situation that my children and I were enslaved in.

I desperately searched for clarity and direction. I needed to be released from our chaotic home life but feared being punished by God. This is what I was lead to believe that God hates anyone who gets a divorce.

I honestly wish that I would have had this valuable information when I was trying to keep my head above the waves. I know now that I was allowed to go through these turbulent waters not only for me but for perhaps you, too.

This important message is for all women stuck in this crippling prison.

Jesus came to set the captives free.
This means you too!

Locally Roasted Coffee and Local Published Authors will be at this year's Rendezvous!

B.Virtues Coffee Shop/Fashion House will have a coffee booth in the Historical Village on Saturday! We will be selling coffee, hot chocolate, chai tea and donuts.
