I’m so grateful to everyone who grabbed a bag and other knitting goodies from this launch. I made SO many patchwork tulips and they sold out in just 3 days! I dropped the last batch in the mail yesterday and they should be in their new homes very soon!

I really wanted to make more but my life is a little bit chaotic right now so I’m not able to but I hope to incorporate more patchwork designs into my bags in the future 💜

Tomorrow! Finally 💜 🌷

I so proud of this patchwork tulip bag! I first dreamed it up in January. Spent hours working this tulip block to be just the right size for my bag pattern. And spent months making them all just for you.

The last month has been a really tough one in my personal life and having this project to focus on has been so great for my mental health. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone enjoy this and all the other sock week goodies as we all knit some socks for hosted by and all the other sock knit-alongs happening this summer.

Picked up my knitting for the first time in about a month for knit&yap at today.

The last month has been terrible so I’m trying to find some normal again. It was nice to sit in a peaceful place, meet new yarnie/bookish friends, and work on my socks.

I have a big announcement coming next week (the biggest of my sewing career) and I’m trying to be excited but it’s hard in the middle of grief. We lost our sweet Piper dog this week after 3 weeks of being sick and it’s just the worst. As my best friend said, a dog’s only fault is that they don’t live nearly long enough. So hug your pups and give them some extra treats from me 🐾 💜

I made these bags two weeks ago and forgot to share them 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been quiet on here lately because I’ve been pretty busy and then in the last week we’ve been dealing with a very sick Piper dog.

I’ve had to delay some plans I had for making new stuff, had my first Texas market scheduled but had to cancel, and I’m just keeping my head down to make it through each day.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to for sharing about the bags I made for her. If you’re here from that, HI! I’m glad you’re here and hope you’ll stick around! You know it’s serious when I give up on my clips and start using pins!

This is just a small piece of my broken dishes quilt that I worked on for two or three days in September and then put in hibernation forever😆 I won’t get anywhere close to finishing it this weekend but I’m having a good time making some progress while husband has my switch 2 and Pokopia hikacked.

I’m using the free broken dishes quilt pattern from and a bunch of random fat quarters from my stash.

How do you feel about knitting (or insert other solo handcraft here) in public?

I don’t do it often because I’m an *inside cat* but I do enjoy it. It fills the same space that scrolling on my phone would and I get some fun socks out of it so I call that a win-win. Plus, it sometimes prompts a person to ask what I’m making and I love sharing and hopefully getting someone else in the mood to make something.

Monday, I got a giant screw in my tire. Thankfully I noticed it while the car was parked in the garage and not with a blowout on the road but that meant I had to spend a while at the tire shop today getting 4 new tires because they were due anyway. It’s a best case scenario all around and I’m glad I had my knitting to keep me occupied while I waited. Now, if someone wants to go spend $967 in my shop, that would be spectacular 😅😭 these cutesy little sock project bags are in there now 👍

New town. New book store. New sock book. Living the dream 🤓

It’s pretty dangerous that I now live just down the road from . I just HAD to go in and special order .lee.knits new sock book and I’m SO excited to make some more cutesy socks.

Knitting is a very slow hobby and I’m kind of loving that because it means that it can’t creep into being a business thing and it’s just for me. But that doesn’t mean I won’t be making sock knitting project bags for the shop (spoiler alert lol)

Hobby hoarder gets hobby mail 😍😍😍

Finally got my order of yarn for my first cardigan and I just HAD to have it after seeing ’s Eva Cardigan and I can’t wait to make this! I’m trying to be more brave with colors now that I’m making my own clothes (WHAT) and want to add some more joy into my wardrobe.

AND THEN my husband got me an early birthday present! I mentioned recently that I wanted a purple GBC and Pokémon blue since this was the pair that originally got me into gaming as a kid and he freaking made it happen! If you have a favorite GB or GBC game, let me know! I’m about to go to our local game store and see what they have because I know I’ve seen Harvest Moon on their shelf and I would love to see what it’s like.

It appears my love for purple started early in my life and it’s still going strong 😆
